What is Rav'nLeigh Border Collies?

Rav'nLeigh Border Collies is basiclly me and my dogs.  It all started 13 years ago with my first Border Collie, Lucy.  There is now my 8 year old Border Collie, Lizzy and her son, Devlin a 3 year old Border Collie, and Lil our 2 year old half sister to Devlin and now nearly 2 year old Border Collie, Remi. We participate in Agility, Obedience, Rally, Herding and Conformation.  We dog show almost every weekend, so we have lots of brags!!

  • Lizzy finished her Open Fast (OF) title and an extra leg with a tw0 1st places
  • Devlin finished his Novice Fast (NF) title with a 2nd place
  • Devlin earned his fisrt Open Jumpers with Weaves leg with a 2nd place

  • Lil won her 6-9 puppy bitch class both days

  • Devlin is half way to earning his 100  points for his UKC UACH

IKC AKC-Breed, Obedience, Rally, Agility (2/23-2/24/08)

  • Devlin earned his Novice Rally title (RN) and his first Advanced Rally leg
  • Devlin earned his Novice Standard Agility Title (NA), his 2nd leg of his Open Jumpers with Weaves Title and his first leg of his Open Fast title.
  • Lizzy earned her Advanced Rally Title (RA) and her first leg of her Excellent Rally title
  • Lizzy earned the 1st leg of her Excellent Fast title and her 9th Masters Jumpers with Weaves leg
  • Lil won her 9-12 puppy class both days

Smack Dabs AKC Agilty Trial (2/29-3/2/08)

  • Devlin earned his Open Jumpers with Weaves title (OAJ) and his first Open Standard leg
  • Lizzy earned her Masters Jumpers with Weaves title (MXJ) and earned her 11th leg

In the Zone NADAC Agility Trial (3/15-3/16/08)

  • Lizzy finished her Open Touch and GO title (TG-O) and earned legs in Elite Regular, Elite Tunnelers, Elite Weavers and Elite Chances
  • Devlin finished his Novice Regular title (NAC) and earned legs in Novice Weavers, Novice Tunnelers and Novice Touch and Go

RACE NADAC Agiltiy Trial (3/22-3/23/08)

  • Lizzy earned an Elite Tunnelers leg, an Elite Weavers leg, an Elite Chances leg and an Elite Regular leg
  • Devlin finished his Novice Tunnelers (TN-N) title, his Novice Weavers (WV-N) title, and his Novice Touch and Go (TG-N) title.  He also earned 2 Open Regular legs, an extra Novice Weavers leg, his 2nd Novice Jumpers leg and his 2nd Novice Chances leg.

Smack Dabs UKC Trial (4/5-4/6/08)

  • Lizzy went 12 for 12 with all the scores above 194, to finish her UGRACH(UKC Grand Agility Champion) Title! She also went High in Trial for 3 of the 4 trials!
  • Devlin earned 26 points towards his UACH(UKC Agility Champion) title.

In the Zone NADAC Agility Trial (4/12-4/13/08)

  • Lizzy earned two Elite Chances legs to finish the Chances portion of her NATCH
  • Devlin earned his Novice Jumpers Certificate (NJC), Novice Chances Certificate (NCC), Open Regular Cetificate (OAC) and his Novice Versiltility Award

Paw Power AKC Agility Trial (4/19-4/20/08)

  • Devlin earned his second leg towards his Open Standard Title.  One more to go!

Northwest AKC Agility Trial (5/2-5/4/08)

  • Devlin earned his Open Standard title.

Lyons AKC Agility, Obedience and Rally Trial (5/10-5/11/08)

  • Lizzy earned 2 legs in Rally Excellent and finished her title!  She also earned another MXJ leg.
  • Devlin earned 2 legs in Advanced Rally and his Advanced Rally title. He finished his CD and earned an extra leg. Plus he earned his first leg towards his Excellent Standard title

Agility Ability AKC Agility Trial (5/17-5/18/08)

  • Devlin earned his second leg towards his Excellent Standard title, and had a WONDERFUL NQ on a really tough course for a near miss for his title!

Smack Dabs AKC Agility Trial (5/24-5/25/08)

  • Devlin earned an Excellent Standard leg for his Excellent Standard title. He finished his title in 3 for 6 runs!

Flat Coat AKC Agility Trial (5/31-6/1/08)

  • Devlin earned his 2nd Open FAST leg with a 1st place win!

Smack Dabs UKC Agility Trial (6/7-6/8/08)

  • Lizzy Earned another UGRACH Leg
  • Devlin Earned another 30 points towards his UACH title, 6 AGII points left to go!

In the Zone NADAC Agility Trial (6/14-6/15/08)

  • Lizzy earned 2 Elite Weavers legs, an Elite Tunnelers leg and an Elite Jumpers leg

  • Lizzy earned 1 GRACH leg and went High in Trial and High Combined for Trial 1 on Friday.
  • Devlin earned 3 UACHX legs, had 2 triple Qs, and went High in Trial and High Combined for Trial 2 on Friday and for Trials 1 and 2 on Saturday.
  • Lil finshed her UAGI ans UAGII titles.

GLBTC AKC (1/2-1/4/09)

  • Devlin earned his 4th and 5th MXJ legs, 6th MX leg, and 3rd DQ. He also earned 2 Excellent Fast legs to finish his XF title.

Blitzen AKC (2/20-2/22)

  • Lizzy earned 1 Excellent FAST leg 
  • Devlin Earned 2 Masters Standard legs, 2 Masters JWW legs and 2 Master Fast legs, plus 2 DQs and 84 MACH points.  He also Earned 2 RE legs to finish that title and his 1st RAE leg.  All with placements!
  • Lil showed in breed and went Reserve Winners Bitch to a 5 point major.

Smack Dabs AKC (2/27-3/1)

  • Lizzy finished her Excellent FAST title in style with a 1st place win
  • Devlin earned a Master standard leg, Master JWW leg and 2 Master FAST legs, plus a DQ and 30 MACH points
  • Lil earned 2 Novice FAST, 1 Novice JWW and 1 Open JWW leg. She finished her Novice JWW title.

I am getting ready to go to my 5th year of dog agility training camp with C Spot Win... I will try to update my blog each day with the camps adventures. (which is great by the way if you are looking for an agility camp... go to cspotwin.com for more info).

  • Devlin earned his 20th and 21st MX legs and 64 MACH points.

  • Devlin earned his 21st MXJ leg and 11 MACH points. He also finished his MXF title with a 1st place win.

NADAC Championships (9/23-9/27/09)

  • Devlin earned 1 Jumpers, 1 Regular, 2 Weavers, 2 Tunnelers and 2 Touch and Go legs. He finished his Superior Elite Tunnelers title and finished 13th over all in the 20+ division. I am sooo proud of him!

Golden Ret Club AKC (10/2-10/4/09)

  • Devlin earned his 14th Double Q, his 23rd and 24th MX legs, his 24th and 25th MXJ legs, his 12th MXF leg and 85 MACH points!

Border Collie Society Of America (10/8-10/9/09)

  • Devlin earned his 15th and 16th Double Qs, 25th and 26th MX legs, 26th and 27th MXJ legs and 53 MACH points. He also earned his 7th RAE leg with one of the scores being his first 100.. With a 1st and a 2nd place. He won the Rally Plus class with a 197 1/2 and took 3rd in the Working Dog Sweepstakes!  We had an awesome 2 days!

In the Zone NADAC (10/17-10/18/09)

  • Lizzy earned an Elite Tunnelers leg
  • Devlin earned 2 Elite Regular, 2 Elite Weavers, and Elite Chances and an Elite Tunnelers leg.
  • Lil earned 2 Elite Jumpers, 2 Open Regular, 1 Open Chances, 1 Elite Tunnelers, and 1 Novice Touch and Go leg. She Finished her Open Regular title, Elite Jumpers title, Novice Touch and Go title and finished her Novice Versatility!
